Pavlína Čambalová
Pavlína Čambalová (*1986) studied precious stones cutting and engraving at the SUPŠ School Turnov and then art glass at the Higher Glass School VOŠ Nový Bor. She participated in several symposia, in 30 group and 3 individual exhibitions. She won several awards both at home and abroad, e.g. in the competition Craft and Art in Glass, in the category Engraved Glass in 2012. Since 2011 she has been a member of “The Guild of Glass Engravers”. She taught in the Bild-Werk in Frauenau, Germany, in 2011 with Jiří Harcuba and in 2013 individually, as well as in „The Studio“ in Corning, the USA, with Martin Rosol. In their glass objects she is focused mainly on an experimental employing of the glass engraving technique applied in combination with various materials. She is inspired by the nature and the everyday simple events. Actually she works as a glass engraver at the Lobmeyr company in Vienna, Austria, and in private she is engaged in her own creative work
